Caden's Baseball--Royals

Caden had a great season under Jimmy Reynolds with the Royals. He pitched his heart out and was so good. There was a huge difference in his pitching compared to last year. Something definitely clicked this year! So good job Caden! We enjoyed every minute of it! Oh yeah, he was also chosen for All-Stars and just finished up with that. There were three All-Star teams, and his took first place. Yeah! He was also chosen to play four more days next week in a tournament for the All-Stars of the All-Stars! Good job!

Here's Caden with some buddies having fun after the All-Star game in the skills contest. He competed in Round-the-Horn, and took 3rd place out of 3 groups--lol. Last year he took first place in the Home Run Derby! We'll see how next week goes--I may post some more pictures later.



Cam's Baseball--First Year in Pony

Cameron had a great season his first year in Pony. He played for the Arizona Sun Devils and was coached by David Ochoa and Marvin Jones. He did a lot of catching this year, and was fantastic. This was his first time to ever catch, but it looked like he'd been doing it forever! Way to go Cam! His team didn't win many games, but they gave it their best effort and had some fun too. We didn't get many action shots, but I at least wanted to remember how cute he is!

Fun at the beach!

Michelle and I took Landon and Caden to the little beach in La Porte. We're getting excited about summer and just wanted a taste of what's to come! The boys had a lot of fun and played awesome together. They're growing up! Can't wait for more beach trips this summer......



Cam's Swim Meets

Cameron had an awesome first experience with competetive swimming! He had three regular meets, and one district meet. He took first place in the 50m. Freestyle in the three regular meets, and second place at the district meet--out of all those kids!! Woo-hoo!! He also placed 4th in the back-stroke, and did well in a couple of relays. We loved watching him and can't wait until next year!

They announced 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and put medals around their necks while they stood on the winner's stand--or whatever you call it.

 



Cam the MAN!

My little man is turning into a NOT so little man! 7th grade turned out to be a year full of sports, choir performances, study sessions (wink, wink), parties, and ..........maturation? I think that word fits!

Awww....a sweet father/son moment. Very strange for me, especially since Cameron is taller than his dad by at least an inch and 1/2, with a foot three sizes larger.

Good job Dad! Now...he looka lika man.

Archery Tournament 2012!

Our most favorite family get together was a blast again! Paw Paw Paul is the B-O-M-B! He's the one that got this whole thing started and we love him for that! We stayed in a beautiful river house this year in Leake, TX. The weather was perfect and the shoot was great! I'm THANKFUL to GOD for my beautiful family!

Cameron is 13 and in 7th grade, and funny, and cute, and big. Size 12 shoe, 5'10', and some testonsterone for sure! To say he is a social butterfly is the biggest understatement in the world. Oh, I for got to mention a super squeaky voice sometimes too!
