Family trip to Caden's Nationals

Caden's national tournament was held in Dallas. He's currently playing for the Houston Select New Balance as a pitcher only. We decided to try to have some fun while there so we drug Cam with us. We definitely had a blast! 

Caden pitched beautifully throughout the whole tournament. Good job Caden! 

We went to one of those escape rooms. So fun! We were SO CLOSE!! We seriously needed about 30 more seconds to make it to the end. Davy and the boys were really good at figuring things out. I was terrible! It was super fun though! 

Cam got to do iFly! He was really good at it. Looked like a pro! 

Davy and I got to have a little date night somewhere in there. We had fun just relaxing and laughing. 

While Caden was at Six Flags with his teammates, we went to the Dallas a World Aquarium. The shark tank was very cool! 

This is how Davy dried Caden's baseball pants since the laundry room was always full. He'd wash in the bathtub and wring them out like this! 

Davy stopped to help this lady put oil in her car on our way home. He saw her struggling when we were getting gas. I had to include this picture because I wanted to capture one of the MANY times he's helped people. He's the very best role model for our boys and this is just one of the countless reasons I love him so much. 

I love you three so much and LOVED spending a few days with you having fun! 

Frio 2015!

Best trip to date! The river was flowing nicely because of the recent floods. Davy didn't have to get out to pull anybody--the whole trip! I was so happy for him. We took the same crew and had a blast. Me, Davy, Cam, Caden, Michelle, Landon, Sarah, and Sydney. We floated everyday and explored a couple of new routes. No sitting in the river like usual. Float, float, and float again! 

I'm glad I captured this fashionable river outfit early in the week because after Jake arrived on Wednesday we really didn't see Cameron again. We expected it and had already discussed it. We definitely missed him though!

Davy's new hair!

Kayaking was my favorite!! It turned out to be everyone else's least favorite activity. Boooooo! It could have been because they fell out down some of the rapids. We took about a 3 hour trip. It was really beautiful!

Couldn't forget Carly the river dog! Michelle picked her up from a little store in Leakey. 

Loved this trip. I really hope the river is flowing like it was this year next year! I love you all and had a blast!
