First Day of Shool!

So proud of you boys! I can't believe you started high school today Cam! And Caden, you are now the big man on campus! I pray that you both have a successful year in academics and athletics. Have some fun while you're at it! I love you both so much. 

Ok these two pictures are actually from after school because we all get up and leave at different times now, so I couldn't get one in the morning because Cam was still asleep when I had to leave. I was a little sad about that too! I should've taken a picture of Caden just creeping next to Cam while he slept! Lol

Park Green Buddies!

You both had awesome days and told us all about it over dinner. Then we had to go to Walmart for all Cam's school supplies. There were only like 200 high schoolers and their parents all within the 3 supplies aisles, so that was fun! Davy was a trooper as always!

Caden's a Teenager!!!

My baby is finally a teenager!! He's brought us 13 years of laughter and love and I couldn't feel more blessed! Happy birthday Caden Bryan!

Last Day of School

So it's the middle of July and summer is in full swing. Cameron's looking forward to heading over to the north campus and Caden's glad that he'll be top dog at the junior high. Today is a typical summer day. It's 1:00 and we're really just getting around doing whatever it is we're going to do--which is usually a bunch of nothing. The boys have friends over just hanging out and I'm about to write a paper for school. Davy's at work and we wish he was here. The kitties are loving life just lounging around inside on this rainy day. And once again, I'm trying to get caught up on my blogging. This one's bitter sweet because it wasn't just any old last day of school--it was Cameron's last day of junior high. I cannot believe that he's going to start high school next year. I have a lump in my throat as I write this. But there's so much to be excited about. And I am excited for him and I'm so very proud of him. And I'm so proud of Caden too. They both had a great year. They played well in all of their sports and made excellent grades. God has certainly blessed me with the two greatest sons I could have ever asked for. They bring so much laughter and love to this house and to my life. OK, so on to awards and the last day of school--here we go!

OK, so this was the first day of school from the same school year--9 months earlier. I think Cameron grew maybe an inch if that. But Caden! Whoa there buddy! Taller, slimmer, and no more baby face!

Caden got the Super Six award! He participated in all 6 athletic sports and did a great job! Congratulations on your accomplishment Caden! Only four boys did this!

Caden summed up in one picture....

If I had to pick one picture to represent Caden--just one--this would be it! I love it and I love him so much. 

I walk into my bathroom. He has wheeled in his unicycle, put on some random sunglasses, pulled up a chair, and is singing. Please notice the Hooter's shirt and matching baby blue shorts. When I asked him what he was doing, he just simply said "nothing, why?" Love him! Apparently the cat was enjoying his company! 

Ranch Trip!

It's July and I've been meaning to post this since April or May. Can't even remember now! The boys, Abby, Ella, Sarah, and Alex went to the ranch with Poppy for some fun--let's just say some time within the last 6 months. There. That narrows it down!
