Cam is 19!

Happy 19th birthday to my first born son!!! Cameron, not being able to see you for the first time ever on your birthday has been harder than you could know. But it was comforting knowing you were with Syd and Sarah and all your friends. Our plans of you being here this weekend didn't work out but our hearts are with you in College Station. We love you so much son!

Here's a picture Sydney sent me after I requested a birthday picture. She said that you said to take a full body shot because you look like a model. Dork! 

You guys met a bunch of your friends for your birthday dinner and to watch the TAMU game.

Cam is a College Kid!!

I cannot believe this day has arrived! My first born is a college freshman! I love you Cameron Blake and am so beyond excited for your new adventures in College Station at Blinn. You are so smart, kind, and cute and will be very successful! I can't really write about all the other emotions I'm feeling about it right now. Way too hard. I love you!!! 

Looking good on that first day--which by the way, was delayed two days because of Hurricane Harvey! And here's a picture of Cam's lunch for the day that he sent me. He's trying to assure me that he's budgeting his grocery money appropriately and not going out to eat too much. Love it! Good job son! You're doing great!

Caden is a SENIOR!!!

How can this be happening? My baby boy is a young man! I love you so much Caden and can't wait to enjoy this year with you. First day of school pic! He wore shoes though. 

Oh and he said he had the best day because his English teacher is super hot. Fantastic! 

 

Caden is 17!

Gosh Caden, you are 17!!! Time has flown by. You definitely fill my life with so much love and laughter and I thank God for you. I've enjoyed watching you grow into the young man you are today and look forward to watching you this coming year--your senior year! I love you so much, Caden Bryan, for exacactly who you are.

Archery Tournament 2017

We had an awesome weekend in Vanderpool but definitely missed Michelle this year. It sure was great to spend time with Sara, Jason, and Crystal though! We stayed at our usual house but the shoot was on a different ranch this time. We liked it.

My 41st Birthday!

Had a great birthday dinner with my family and came home to a surprise! I sure have some sweet boys in my life. Thanks to Sydney too! 

Lots of comfort goodies for me! Gosh, I can tell I'm getting older. Bath soaking salts and foot pads! They know what I like--and need!!

He Has Risen!

What a beautiful Easter day spent at church and with family. As usual, Mumaw and Paul made it very special with a delicious lunch, cute decor, and for the first time, a scavenger hunt. Who knew Paul could be so creative with words! Of course we had an egg toss too. Davy and Caden took the win this year.

We celebrated birthdays too since we couldn't at the archery tournament without Michelle. Thank you for the beautiful cake and gifts mother, Paul, and Nana. I turned 41 and Michelle turned 40!!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our friends Tim and Darby at their wedding. It was nice to have a relaxing evening out with Davy and our friends. 

 

 

 

Valentine's Day 2017

I just wanted to capture how sweet Cam is to Sydney. He was so thoughtful and tried to create a nice evening for the two of them. So cute! He will make an awesome husband one day. 

Notice the heart-shaped pickle appetizer! She loves pickles. He also picked up her favorite pasta meal, a dozen roses, a facial mask that she loves, lit a candle, poured their water in wine glasses, and played soft music from the laptop. So sweet! 

And I wanted to always remember the sweetest cards I could ever receive from my 3 boys. I am so blessed. 

I'm 40, Davy is 42, and the boys are 18 and 16. 

 

 

 

 

 

Senior Year Football Banquet

Congratulations on a successful senior year on the varsity team Cam! We enjoyed watching you play all 4 years and are so proud of your commitment to stick with something that was really hard at times. What a blessing the program has been in your life. Lots of life lessons learned and a wonderful opportunity. You make us very proud!
