I had THE BEST 45th birthday weekend. Davy and the boys pulled off a surprise birthday celebration for me in College Station. It went like this—Davy and I receive a text from one of Cameron’s friends on Thursday telling us that Cam is going to be receiving the “Spike of the Year” award Saturday at 1:00 at Chimy’s in College Station and that it would be great if we could make it even though he’s letting us know last minute. Well, I jumped all over that! Wouldn’t miss it for anything! We get a hotel Friday and head to Chimy’s Saturday at 1:00. Head to the patio where Blake said they’d be. As I come around the corner I hear SURPRISE! I’m still not getting it at that point and didn’t understand why Cameron was already there. I was so surprised when it finally sunk in. It was awesome! So fun! I love my family and really appreciated their efforts to show me their love. We had a blast with them the rest of the day and evening at Northgate.

The perfect weekend ended in the perfect way—a sister birthday celebration at Mumaw and Paul’s with delicious fajitas and margaritas! Happy birthday to me and Michelle!
